The microwave treatment of snack foods mainly includes the sterilization of bagged snack foods and the baking and drying of non-riedsnack foods .
Microwave steriization is a physical sterilization method. It does not require to add chemical preservatives to kill bacteria, molds and eggs, as well as viruses and other harmful microorganisms. Microwave sterilization is safe and harmless, has no residue, and does not changethe color, flavor and nutrients of food.
Non-ried snack foods'microwave treatments are baking and frying.
